Roche today announced results from the Phase 3 AVF2107g trial evaluating Avastin (bevacizumab) plus irinotecan, fluorouracil, and leucovorin (IFL) versus IFL alone in patients with previously untreated metastatic colorectal cancer. The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a significant improvement in overall survival with Avastin.
