Merck today presented five-year overall survival data from the Phase 3 KEYNOTE-177 trial evaluating Keytruda (pembrolizumab) as first-line treatment for patients with microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) or mismatch repair deficient (dMMR) metastatic colorectal cancer. The data showed that the overall survival benefit of Keytruda was maintained at five years, with a median overall survival of 77.5 months in the Keytruda arm compared to 36.7 months in the chemotherapy arm. These long-term data reinforce Keytruda as the standard first-line treatment for MSI-H/dMMR metastatic colorectal cancer.
