AstraZeneca today announced overall survival data from the Phase 3 ASCEND trial evaluating Calquence (acalabrutinib) in patients with relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The data showed a trend toward improved overall survival with Calquence compared to investigator's choice of idelalisib plus rituximab or bendamustine plus rituximab.
