Vertex Pharmaceuticals Reports Six-Year Outcomes for Trikafta in Cystic Fibrosis

Vertex Pharmaceuticals today presented six-year follow-up data for Trikafta (elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor) in patients with cystic fibrosis. The data showed that Trikafta maintained significant improvements in lung function, with ppFEV1 improvements of approximately 14 percentage points sustained over six years. Pulmonary exacerbation rates remained dramatically reduced compared to pre-treatment rates.
