Regeneron and Sanofi Report Positive BOREAS Trial Results for Itepekimab in COPD

Regeneron and Sanofi today announced positive results from the Phase 3 BOREAS trial evaluating itepekimab in patients with moderate-to-severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who are former smokers. The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a 24% reduction in the annualized rate of moderate or severe COPD exacerbations compared to placebo.
