Vertex Pharmaceuticals Reports Positive Phase 3 Results for Next-Generation Cystic Fibrosis Triple Combination

Vertex Pharmaceuticals today announced positive results from the Phase 3 SKYLINE trials evaluating the next-generation triple combination of vanzacaftor/tezacaftor/deutivacaftor in patients with cystic fibrosis who have at least one F508del mutation. The trials demonstrated that the new combination achieved superior improvements in lung function (ppFEV1) compared to Trikafta/Kaftrio.
