Regeneron Reports Phase 3 Results for Evkeeza in Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia

Regeneron today announced Phase 3 trial results for Evkeeza (evinacumab) in patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). The trial demonstrated a significant reduction in LDL cholesterol of approximately 47% compared to placebo when added to maximally tolerated lipid-lowering therapy. Evkeeza is an anti-ANGPTL3 antibody that reduces LDL cholesterol through a mechanism independent of LDL receptor function.
