Amgen Reports GALACTIC-HF Subgroup Analysis for Omecamtiv Mecarbil in Heart Failure

Amgen today presented a subgroup analysis from the Phase 3 GALACTIC-HF trial evaluating omecamtiv mecarbil in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. The analysis showed that patients with lower ejection fraction and higher NT-proBNP levels derived greater benefit from omecamtiv mecarbil, suggesting a potential target population for this cardiac myosin activator.
