Pfizer Reports Phase 3 PALOMA-2 Results for Ibrance in HR-Positive Breast Cancer

Pfizer today announced results from the Phase 3 PALOMA-2 trial evaluating Ibrance (palbociclib) plus letrozole versus letrozole alone in patients with HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer. The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a significant improvement in progression-free survival with Ibrance, with a median PFS of 24.8 months compared to 14.5 months with letrozole alone.
