Pfizer Reports Phase 3 Data for Liraglutide in Atrial fibrillation

Pfizer today announced Phase 3 results for liraglutide in patients with atrial fibrillation. The study demonstrated that liraglutide reduces exacerbation rates compared to standard of care or placebo. These results provide important insights into the treatment of atrial fibrillation and support the continued development of liraglutide in this patient population. The data were presented at a major medical conference and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Regulatory submissions are planned based on these results.
