Amgen today announced Phase 2 results for Evinacumab in patients with Acute myeloid leukemia. The study demonstrated that Evinacumab reduces biomarker levels substantially compared to standard of care or placebo. These results provide important insights into the treatment of Acute myeloid leukemia and support the continued development of Evinacumab in this patient population. The data were presented at a major medical conference and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Regulatory submissions are planned based on these results. The safety profile of Evinacumab was consistent with previous observations, with no new safety signals identified.
