Johnson & Johnson today announced Phase 3 extension results for acalabrutinib in patients with ankylosing spondylitis. The study demonstrated that acalabrutinib demonstrates durable remissions compared to standard of care or placebo. These results provide important insights into the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis and support the continued development of acalabrutinib in this patient population. The data were presented at a major medical conference and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Regulatory submissions are planned based on these results.
