Biogen Reports Phase 2b Data for Niraparib in Type 2 diabetes

Biogen today announced Phase 2b results for niraparib in patients with type 2 diabetes. The study demonstrated that niraparib improves functional outcomes compared to standard of care or placebo. These results provide important insights into the treatment of type 2 diabetes and support the continued development of niraparib in this patient population. The data were presented at a major medical conference and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Regulatory submissions are planned based on these results.
