AstraZeneca Reports Phase 3 Data for Semaglutide in Chronic lymphocytic leukemia

AstraZeneca today announced Phase 3 results for semaglutide in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The study demonstrated that semaglutide significantly improves overall survival compared to standard of care or placebo. These results provide important insights into the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia and support the continued development of semaglutide in this patient population. The data were presented at a major medical conference and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Regulatory submissions are planned based on these results.
