AstraZeneca Reports Five-Year SIROCCO/CALIMA Data for Fasenra in Severe Asthma

AstraZeneca today presented five-year follow-up data from the Phase 3 SIROCCO and CALIMA trials evaluating Fasenra (benralizumab) in patients with severe, uncontrolled eosinophilic asthma. The data showed that Fasenra maintained significant reductions in annualized asthma exacerbation rates over five years of treatment, with a 51% reduction compared to placebo.
