AstraZeneca today announced results from the Phase 3 MESSINA trial evaluating benralizumab in patients with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). The trial demonstrated significant reductions in peak esophageal eosinophil counts and improvements in dysphagia symptoms compared to placebo.
