Amgen Reports Phase 3 Results for Denosumab in Prevention of Bone Metastases

Amgen today announced Phase 3 trial results for denosumab in patients with non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer at high risk of bone metastases. The trial demonstrated that denosumab significantly delayed the time to first bone metastasis compared to placebo. These results support the use of denosumab in preventing bone metastases in high-risk prostate cancer patients.
