AbbVie Reports meta-analysis Data for Daratumumab in Beta-thalassemia

AbbVie today announced meta-analysis results for daratumumab in patients with beta-thalassemia. The study demonstrated that daratumumab improves progression-free survival compared to standard of care or placebo. These results provide important insights into the treatment of beta-thalassemia and support the continued development of daratumumab in this patient population. The data were presented at a major medical conference and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Regulatory submissions are planned based on these results.
