Vertex Pharmaceuticals Reports Phase 3 Extension Data for Trikafta in Cystic Fibrosis

Vertex Pharmaceuticals today presented Phase 3 extension data for Trikafta (elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor) in patients with cystic fibrosis. The data showed that Trikafta maintained significant improvements in ppFEV1 over 24 weeks of treatment in the extension study, with the improvements consistent with those observed in the primary trial.
