Vertex Reports Phase 3 extension Data for Omalizumab in Chronic kidney disease

Vertex today announced Phase 3 extension results for Omalizumab in patients with Chronic kidney disease. The study demonstrated that Omalizumab provides durable benefit over long-term follow-up compared to standard of care or placebo. These results provide important insights into the treatment of Chronic kidney disease and support the continued development of Omalizumab in this patient population. The data were presented at a major medical conference and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Regulatory submissions are planned based on these results. The safety profile of Omalizumab was consistent with previous observations, with no new safety signals identified.
