Sanofi Reports Phase 2 EMPOWER-BCC 1 Results for Libtayo in Basal Cell Carcinoma

Sanofi and Regeneron today announced results from the Phase 2 EMPOWER-BCC 1 trial evaluating Libtayo (cemiplimab) in patients with advanced basal cell carcinoma who had progressed on or were intolerant to hedgehog pathway inhibitor therapy. The trial demonstrated an objective response rate of 21%, with durable responses observed in responding patients.
