Sanofi Reports Phase 3 COMET Results for Nexviazyme in Pompe Disease

Sanofi today announced results from the Phase 3 COMET trial evaluating Nexviazyme (avalglucosidase alfa) versus alglucosidase alfa in patients with late-onset Pompe disease. The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a significant improvement in respiratory muscle strength with Nexviazyme compared to alglucosidase alfa. Motor function improvements were also significantly greater with Nexviazyme.
