Rheumatology research laboratory

Novartis today presented five-year follow-up data from the Phase 3 FUTURE 5 trial evaluating Cosentyx (secukinumab) in patients with active psoriatic arthritis. The data showed that Cosentyx maintained significant improvements in joint symptoms, skin manifestations, and physical function over five years. Importantly, Cosentyx demonstrated sustained inhibition of radiographic progression, with minimal joint damage progression observed over the five-year period. These long-term data reinforce Cosentyx as an effective long-term treatment option for psoriatic arthritis.
