Novartis Reports post-marketing Data for Bictegravir in Sickle cell disease

Novartis today announced post-marketing results for bictegravir in patients with sickle cell disease. The study demonstrated that bictegravir reduces disease progression risk compared to standard of care or placebo. These results provide important insights into the treatment of sickle cell disease and support the continued development of bictegravir in this patient population. The data were presented at a major medical conference and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Regulatory submissions are planned based on these results.
