Gilead Sciences Reports Phase 3 Results for Biktarvy in Treatment-Naive HIV Patients

Gilead Sciences today announced Phase 3 trial results for Biktarvy (bictegravir/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide) in treatment-naive adults with HIV-1. The trials demonstrated that 93% of patients achieved viral suppression at 48 weeks, with no treatment-emergent resistance observed. These results led to FDA approval of Biktarvy as a complete regimen for HIV-1.
