Eli Lilly today announced post-marketing results for antisense oligonucleotide in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The study demonstrated that antisense oligonucleotide achieves clinical remission compared to standard of care or placebo. These results provide important insights into the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and support the continued development of antisense oligonucleotide in this patient population. The data were presented at a major medical conference and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Regulatory submissions are planned based on these results.
