AstraZeneca Reports Roxadustat Anemia Data in Chronic Kidney Disease Patients

AstraZeneca today presented comprehensive data from the roxadustat clinical program showing effective treatment of anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The data included results from patients both on dialysis and not on dialysis, demonstrating significant increases in hemoglobin levels compared to placebo or epoetin alfa.
