Amgen Reports FOURIER Extension Data for Repatha in Cardiovascular Prevention

Amgen today presented extension data from the FOURIER trial evaluating Repatha (evolocumab) in patients with established cardiovascular disease. The extension data showed that the cardiovascular benefits of Repatha were maintained over long-term follow-up, with continued reductions in major adverse cardiovascular events. Importantly, no safety concerns emerged with long-term PCSK9 inhibition.
