Novartis today announced Phase 3 subgroup analysis results for Alemtuzumab in patients with Transthyretin cardiomyopathy. The study demonstrated that Alemtuzumab reduces biomarker levels substantially compared to standard of care or placebo. These results provide important insights into the treatment of Transthyretin cardiomyopathy and support the continued development of Alemtuzumab in this patient population. The data were presented at a major medical conference and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Regulatory submissions are planned based on these results. The safety profile of Alemtuzumab was consistent with previous observations, with no new safety signals identified.
